Just Add Material

The week's challenge over at Just Add Ink is to "just add material" to a card or papercraft project, I decided to give it a go and made this card. It maybe the last time I use Pale Plum, as you can no longer buy it.
I really love the Vintage Vogue stamp set, it is so versatile. I am really pleased that it made it into the new catalogue. (I think us stampers would have started a riot if it didn't) LOL.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Vinatge Vogue
Card/Paper: Pale Plum, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink: Pale Plum, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive
Accessories: 5/8" Old Olive grosgrain ribbon, Scallop Edge punch, Pretties Kit, Build-a-Brad, sponge

Check out the other fantastic submissions and have a go yourself!

Fifth Avenue Watercolouring

This is one of the cards that we made at my watercolouring technique class a couple of weeks ago. It is an effective watercolouring technique using embossing and your re-inkers. The very talented Alisa Tilsner had an article and insructions in a papercraft magazine. This technique is so simple but very effective. I definitely recommend having a go at this.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Fifth Avenue Floral, Occasional Greetings
Card/Paper: Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Watercolour paper, Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss Patterns DSP
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Versa Mark, Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink re-inkers
Accessories: Silver brads, Aqua Painter, sponge, White embossing powder

Helping Hudson Colour Challenge #9

This weeks colour challenge for the Helping Hudson Appeal is to choose a colour and neutral (you can use as many shades of that colour as you wish) and use them on your papercraft project!
I used Perfect Plum and Pale Plum. Sadly, Pale Plum is retiring and won't be available for purchase after the end of August :(
On the main panel, I've stamped the rose from Fifth Avenue Floral on Whisper White card in Pale Plum ink. Then I stamped the words from Occasional Greetings over the rose in Perfect Plum ink. I then layered it up to a piece of Pale Plum and distressed piece of Perfect Plum, then attached it to the card. Easy!!
Go and visit the Helping Hudson website and check out all the other fabulous entry's and have a go yourself! It's for a very good cause.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Fifth Avenue Floral, En Francais, Occasional Greetings
Card/Paper: Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Whisper White
Ink: Perfect Plum, Pale Plum
Accessories: Mat Pack, sponge

Elegant Kindness

I believe this is called a "gate fold card." Simply a piece of A5 cardstock, just folded so that the 2 sides meet in the middle.
The softness of both colours- Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery, the pearls and the En Francais stamp, give a graceful and elegant feel. Do you agree?

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Echoes of Kindness, Heard from the Heart, En Francais
Card/Paper: Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Ink: Bashful Blue
Accessories: Bashful Blue marker, Certainly Celery marker, 1/4" Certainly Celery grosgrain ribbon, Mat Pack, Pretties Kit, Dazzling Diamonds
