It's just lovely. For this card, I stamped the script stamp from the French Foliage set a few times on the butterfly using Early Espresso ink. Then I stamped the Bella Toile stamp using Versa Mark, and clear embossed it. Some pearls finished it off nicely.<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-x3jUwdUQqM0/Ti5a_uEnHaI/AAAAAAAABNI/tLrt3qSpYqY/s1600/IMG_4893%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 387px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-x3jUwdUQqM0/Ti5a_uEnHaI/AAAAAAAABNI/tLrt3qSpYqY/s400/IMG_4893%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5633540234632699298" border="0" /></a><br />I'm looking forward to making many more of these cards using different colours! I hope you're all enjoying your week. We just got back from a lovely wee holiday in the Coromandel. It was chilly, but wonderful. Since we got back, I've had some time in my craft room....<br /><br />I sat down and created these very simple cards using the SU! In- colours. They would be a lovely gift, in a matching box or wallet, or great to have on hand when you're short of time.<br /><br />Each colour is paired with Old Olive:<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GLcUNs_XPpY/Ti5KjmQ_l8I/AAAAAAAABMM/Z1zwd71NVIQ/s1600/IMG_4889%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 383px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GLcUNs_XPpY/Ti5KjmQ_l8I/AAAAAAAABMM/Z1zwd71NVIQ/s400/IMG_4889%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5633522159314769858" border="0" /></a>Poppy Parade<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-W2QwfGyn3l4/Ti5KjnqkokI/AAAAAAAABMU/D9FQv-9UeOA/s1600/IMG_4890%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 386px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-W2QwfGyn3l4/Ti5KjnqkokI/AAAAAAAABMU/D9FQv-9UeOA/s400/IMG_4890%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5633522159690490434" border="0" /></a>Concord Crush<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tH4Hfjz1jag/Ti5Kj0kOPoI/AAAAAAAABMc/_iK94QYfoiM/s1600/IMG_4891%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 388px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tH4Hfjz1jag/Ti5Kj0kOPoI/AAAAAAAABMc/_iK94QYfoiM/s400/IMG_4891%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5633522163153518210" border="0" /></a>Blushing Bride<br /></div><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kHDblgtZDVs/Ti5KjZ57siI/AAAAAAAABME/3znIp5OIcGM/s1600/IMG_4888%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 386px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kHDblgtZDVs/Ti5KjZ57siI/AAAAAAAABME/3znIp5OIcGM/s400/IMG_4888%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5633522155996820002" border="0" /></a>Peach Parfait<br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;">Which one is your favourite? I really like it, hope you do too!.....<br />I work as a teacher aide and I made these cute little Easter cones filled with gummy lollies for the kids. I mostly used retired designer paper, because I have a big pile to use up!<br />I've also made some carrot cones, and some Concord Crush cones filled with mini eggs. They are so cute and easy to make.<br />It's safe to say that the kids really loved them; the cones and the lollies!<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-EGQis9RAHXo/Ta_J2NksSRI/AAAAAAAABKU/mmB0lEn5Yuc/s1600/IMG_4574%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-EGQis9RAHXo/Ta_J2NksSRI/AAAAAAAABKU/mmB0lEn5Yuc/s400/IMG_4574%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5597914795038492946" border="0" /></a>Have a relaxing Easter, and remember what Christ did for us.<br /><span style="font-style: italic; color: rgb(51, 153, 153);font-size:180%;" ><br />Debbie</span>Debbie Aireyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00091410858447920566noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7524587792713623585.post-30188413781339100762011-04-22T22:51:00.000-07:002011-04-23T22:18:02.567-07:00Striking Easter ButterflyI made this Easter card for my sister who temporarily lives in London, along with a wee package of Easter goodies. It's always nice to recieve cards and pressies when your away from home.<br />I've used the Big Shot alot to create this card: The Beautiful Butterflies die for the butterfly, the Scallop Circle for the base and the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder for the texture on the butterfly.<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QlhAZ0o8yw8/Ta_Gm9MbqMI/AAAAAAAABJ0/1Qt5c8tTBJE/s1600/IMG_4512%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 354px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QlhAZ0o8yw8/Ta_Gm9MbqMI/AAAAAAAABJ0/1Qt5c8tTBJE/s400/IMG_4512%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5597911234408851650" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-style: italic;">Supplies Used:<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Stamp Sets: </span>Baroque Motifs, Teeny Tiny Sentiments<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Card/Paper: </span>Cherr Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Love Letter DSP<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Ink: </span>Cherry Cobbler<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Accessories: </span>Beautiful Butterflies die, Scallop Circle die, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, Wide Oval punch, Antique Brad, sponge<br /></span><br />Well I hope she enjoys this card as much as I enjoyed making it!<br /><br /><span style="font-style: italic; color: rgb(51, 153, 153);font-size:180%;" >Debbie</span>Debbie Aireyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00091410858447920566noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7524587792713623585.post-8449855193526320062011-04-20T19:55:00.001-07:002011-04-20T20:21:15.514-07:00Fast and FabulousI just love this stamp set- Fast and Fabulous, I don't use it nearly enough! It can be earned for <span style="font-style: italic;">free </span>with a qualifing workshop (more info <a href="http://debbiesstampingcorner.blogspot.com/p/host-workshop.html"><span style="font-style: italic;">here</span></a>).<br />I saw a similar card by <a href="http://www.tenealewilliams.com.au/wp02/">Teneale Williams</a>, which I thought was just stunning. Teneale used the Just Believe stamp set, which I don't own (yet!), but Fast and Fabulous did the trick! I definately want this set to see ink more often!<br />I used the new Decorative Label punch for the sentiment, which I fiddled around a bit to make it smaller.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PAT4S3_A83c/Ta-envz0OWI/AAAAAAAABJs/CByMJ2qZax0/s1600/IMG_4571%2B%2528Small%2529%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><br /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PAT4S3_A83c/Ta-envz0OWI/AAAAAAAABJs/CByMJ2qZax0/s1600/IMG_4571%2B%2528Small%2529%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 360px; height: 480px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PAT4S3_A83c/Ta-envz0OWI/AAAAAAAABJs/CByMJ2qZax0/s1600/IMG_4571%2B%2528Small%2529%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-style: italic;">Supplies Used:<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Stamp Sets: </span>Fast and Fabulous, Because I Care<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Card/Paper: </span><span>Baja Breeze, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla<br /></span><span style="font-weight: bold;">Ink: </span></span><span style="font-style: italic;">Baja Breeze, Soft Suede<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Accessories: </span>Decorative Label punch, Very Vanilla taffetta ribbon, Top Note die, pearls, sponges<br /><br /></span><span>Thanks for stopping by!</span><span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-style: italic;"><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(51, 153, 153);font-size:180%;" >Debbie</span><br /></span><br /></span>Debbie Aireyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00091410858447920566noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7524587792713623585.post-88099806903044081932011-04-16T22:23:00.000-07:002011-04-23T22:18:35.764-07:00Easter Butterflies<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uD71p0V-gN0/Tap7PYkjToI/AAAAAAAABJc/-ffZcXWzLCQ/s1600/IMG_4498%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uD71p0V-gN0/Tap7PYkjToI/AAAAAAAABJc/-ffZcXWzLCQ/s400/IMG_4498%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5596420991185276546" border="0" /></a><br />Friday was the last day of school and I wanted to give some of the teachers I work with a small gift of appreciation. It is inspired by a card that I saw on Teneale Williams blog. Teneale makes the most gorgeous creations, so check out her blog <a href="http://www.tenealewilliams.com.au/wp02/">here.</a><br />This card was so quick to make. It would be lovely to make a whole lot of these with different sentiments and colours to have on hand.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4w5tO45-8gU/TaloY1RirAI/AAAAAAAABJU/6LmQ80BK0_M/s1600/IMG_4496%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 370px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4w5tO45-8gU/TaloY1RirAI/AAAAAAAABJU/6LmQ80BK0_M/s400/IMG_4496%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5596118787811355650" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-style: italic;">Supplies used:<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Stamp Sets: </span>Bliss {retired SAB set}, Because I Care {level 1 hostess gift}</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Card/Paper: </span><span style="font-style: italic;">Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White</span> <span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Ink: </span><span style="font-style: italic;">Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink</span> <span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Accessories: </span><span style="font-style: italic;">Regal Rose 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, pearl</span><br /><br />Thanks for stopping by!<br /><br /><span style="font-style: italic; color: rgb(51, 153, 153);font-size:180%;" >Debbie</span>Debbie Aireyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00091410858447920566noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7524587792713623585.post-16536075250720522282011-04-08T16:52:00.001-07:002011-04-12T23:51:36.796-07:00Praying for YouI've got a few friends who need a bit of encouragment, and here is one of the cards I've made for them.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cwwxoA70-dA/TZ-gyzVgOyI/AAAAAAAABJM/PNNkgmaGcrw/s1600/IMG_4489%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cwwxoA70-dA/TZ-gyzVgOyI/AAAAAAAABJM/PNNkgmaGcrw/s400/IMG_4489%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5593366056851749666" border="0" /></a><br />I've used the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set along with the Bold Brights paper stack. Over the years Keiko has stayed in touch with us and has visited us twice.<br />A few months ago she got married and so I got to work and made her this card. I sent it only a few days before the tsunami and obviously I was concerned for her.<br />Yesterday I received an email to say that she is safe as well as family and friends.<br />This card is inspired by <a href="http://monicas-passions.blogspot.com/">Monica Gale.</a> I love her style of cards.<br /><span style="font-style: italic;"><br /><span style="font-style: italic;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zX9ehdY-6XU/TYq641PFR5I/AAAAAAAABH8/Gtt3nhMKR4M/s1600/IMG_4447%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zX9ehdY-6XU/TYq641PFR5I/AAAAAAAABH8/Gtt3nhMKR4M/s400/IMG_4447%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5587483773232301970" border="0" /></a></span><br />Supplies Used:<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Stamp Sets: </span>Bliss, Baroque Motifs, En Francais<br /></span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Card/Paper: </span><span style="font-style: italic;">Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Very Vanilla</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Ink: </span><span style="font-style: italic;">Riding Hood Red, Crumb Cake, Basic Black</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Accessories: </span><span style="font-style: italic;">Wide Oval punch, Riding Hood Red 1 1/4" striped grosgrain ribbon, pearls</span><br /><br />Thanks for stopping by!<br /><br /><span style="font-style: italic; color: rgb(51, 153, 153);font-size:180%;" >Debbie</span>Debbie Aireyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00091410858447920566noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7524587792713623585.post-4849886058165390642011-03-09T19:09:00.000-08:002011-03-12T20:14:55.740-08:00Encouragment BoxAs I was working on the <a href="http://debbiesstampingcorner.blogspot.com/2011/03/chatter-boxes.html">Conversation Boxes</a> I thought about other ways I could use the boxes. We always need encouragement even on our best days. So I put some cards together with some encouraging scriptures from the Bible. I used the Love Letter DSP and trimmed the lid with the beautiful Victoria Crochet Trim.<br />The black card was put through the Bigshot using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder and then sprayed with the Silver Foil smooch spritz.<br />I used the Fancy Flower punch to create the gorgeous flower on the lid.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uTgDNeyZ670/TXhLeqr8yeI/AAAAAAAABHk/1dwsDCA1quA/s1600/IMG_4426%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 386px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uTgDNeyZ670/TXhLeqr8yeI/AAAAAAAABHk/1dwsDCA1quA/s400/IMG_4426%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5582294728352516578" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-style: italic;"><span><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-O4qJqb6BjOg/TXhLe2MBv3I/AAAAAAAABHs/ggDmxJi1pow/s1600/IMG_4427%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 354px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-O4qJqb6BjOg/TXhLe2MBv3I/AAAAAAAABHs/ggDmxJi1pow/s400/IMG_4427%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5582294731439849330" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NXBg4FLuJcg/TXhLfPRGOkI/AAAAAAAABH0/pnKyUbFMgQ0/s1600/IMG_4431%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NXBg4FLuJcg/TXhLfPRGOkI/AAAAAAAABH0/pnKyUbFMgQ0/s400/IMG_4431%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5582294738172000834" border="0" /></a></span></span><br />Supplies Used:<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Stamp Sets: </span><span>Artistic Etchings<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Card/Paper: </span>Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Love Letter DSP<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Ink: </span>Crumb Cake<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Accessories: </span>Fancy Flower pun</span></span><span style="font-style: italic;"><span>ch, 5-Petal Flower punch, Antique Brad, Victoria Crochet trim, Silver Foil smooch spritz, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder<br /></span></span><br />Thanks for stopping by!<br /><span style="font-style: italic; color: rgb(51, 153, 153);font-size:180%;" >Debbie</span>Debbie Aireyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00091410858447920566noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7524587792713623585.post-41906525729369421522011-03-03T17:37:00.000-08:002011-03-04T20:15:01.615-08:00Chatter Boxes!Did that get your attention? This is a box that I have made for swapping for the Auckland Stampin' Up' Regionals. I also demonstarted this for a WOW presentation at the regionals.<br />Inside the box has cards which you can use for conversation starters. The box is small enough to carry aound in your hand bag or have in the car. Great for appointment waiting times and the meal table.<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-1ORYDLWo0c0/TXFOyQ6ChcI/AAAAAAAABGc/Yn0N3p77RQg/s1600/IMG_4409%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 354px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-1ORYDLWo0c0/TXFOyQ6ChcI/AAAAAAAABGc/Yn0N3p77RQg/s400/IMG_4409%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5580328038727583170" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-x99KRc_RB8s/TXFOyk5Ap4I/AAAAAAAABGk/KtoZ0pG00Hs/s1600/IMG_4411%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 311px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-x99KRc_RB8s/TXFOyk5Ap4I/AAAAAAAABGk/KtoZ0pG00Hs/s400/IMG_4411%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5580328044091975554" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SgeMsbQMkXo/TXFOzFD0v2I/AAAAAAAABGs/8vmJVYWPh68/s1600/IMG_4412%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 334px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SgeMsbQMkXo/TXFOzFD0v2I/AAAAAAAABGs/8vmJVYWPh68/s400/IMG_4412%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5580328052727267170" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-k3btpL9FxCE/TXFOzN7N57I/AAAAAAAABG0/jCNhXpBKqKg/s1600/IMG_4413%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-k3btpL9FxCE/TXFOzN7N57I/AAAAAAAABG0/jCNhXpBKqKg/s400/IMG_4413%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5580328055107086258" border="0" /></a><br />I have put together a tutorial, so you can make one yourself!<br /><br />Step 1: For the base, I used the cardboard which is in the DSP packets. It is sturdy and has a lovely smooth finish. It is cut at 5 1/4" square and scored 1.5" on all sides.<br />For the lid I have used Tempting Turquoise card cut at 3 7/8" square and scored 3/4" on all sides.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KKRseQY7U3g/TXG0ta3RR-I/AAAAAAAABG8/-XPhrmWPOag/s1600/IMG_4435%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KKRseQY7U3g/TXG0ta3RR-I/AAAAAAAABG8/-XPhrmWPOag/s400/IMG_4435%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5580440105687009250" border="0" /></a><br />Step 2: Cut on the score lines, up till where the other score line crosses over it, as shown. Fold all score lines.<br />Add sticky strip on the corners:<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fmgQZf0tKeg/TXG0tYtkpbI/AAAAAAAABHE/G-qDsMQZznE/s1600/IMG_4436%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fmgQZf0tKeg/TXG0tYtkpbI/AAAAAAAABHE/G-qDsMQZznE/s400/IMG_4436%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5580440105109464498" border="0" /></a><br />Step 3: Stick the base and lid together:<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pHft7I2MjKI/TXG0tjf08VI/AAAAAAAABHM/TtlaBvPCVYM/s1600/IMG_4437%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pHft7I2MjKI/TXG0tjf08VI/AAAAAAAABHM/TtlaBvPCVYM/s400/IMG_4437%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5580440108004602194" border="0" /></a><br /><br />To decorate, I stamped the large flower from Punched Posies which is the Level 2 Hostess gift from the Summer Mini. I used Rose Red for this. I punched the flower out with the XL Fancy Flower punch. I stamped another flower with Pumpkin Pie ink and punched out the middle with a 1" circle punch. You can also add designer paper to the base of the box.<br /><br />To make the button, I stamped an image from the Itty Bitty Bits onto Whisper White cardstock. I then punched out the image using one of the coordinating punches out of the Punch Pack. I dotted a tiny bit of Tombo glue around the image and placed the Bitty Button on top. So cute.<br /><br />Now your ready to create your cards. The Rose Red piece is 2" square and the Whisper White piece is 1 7/8" square. The outline is from the Great Friends stamp set.<br /><br />I have used the Rose Red marker to write my conversation starters.<br /><br />Happy Chatting!<br /><br /><span style="font-style: italic; color: rgb(51, 153, 153);font-size:180%;" >Debbie</span>Debbie Aireyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00091410858447920566noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7524587792713623585.post-47646034973805761422011-02-27T00:07:00.000-08:002011-03-04T12:48:06.580-08:00Thoughts and Prayers for ChristchurchI had made these cards a few weeks ago and had not put them on my blog. If there was ever a time to send encouragement to people this is the time!<br />Christchurch is my city. I live in Auckland now but my mum amd dad still live there.<br />I am incredibly thankful that my mum was in Wellington visiting a friend. She was due to fly back to Christchurch on Wednesday. Her stay has been extended till this Wednesday. We will both meet in Christchurch and spend some time at her house and come back to Auckland.<br />Our family send you people of Christchurch a big hug and we are praying for you.<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-135cwtwEdW4/TWoGgrre1OI/AAAAAAAABGU/15ETq7m6RVk/s1600/IMG_4353%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-135cwtwEdW4/TWoGgrre1OI/AAAAAAAABGU/15ETq7m6RVk/s400/IMG_4353%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5578278247002461410" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wn1jX99bIBQ/TWoGgfSiSRI/AAAAAAAABGM/hrF2tja1MQM/s1600/IMG_4335%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wn1jX99bIBQ/TWoGgfSiSRI/AAAAAAAABGM/hrF2tja1MQM/s400/IMG_4335%2B%2528Small%2529.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5578278243676604690" border="0" /></a>{This card was inspired by <a href="http://stampingmoments.blogspot.com/">Jenny Moors</a>}<br /><br /><div style="text-align: left; font-style: italic; color: rgb(51, 153, 153);"><span style="font-size:180%;">Debbie<br /></span></div></div>Debbie Aireyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00091410858447920566noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7524587792713623585.post-23916841503431797982011-02-23T18:48:00.000-08:002011-02-23T19:23:12.725-08:00Liebster Blog AwardHi there, I feel very blessed and honoured to receive this blog award from <a href="http://stampwithtam.blogspot.com/">Tammy!</a>:<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-fPLvfLlGFLQ/TWXNznUOa7I/AAAAAAAABF8/_JTWl7O2gAI/s1600/Liebster_blog_love_blog_Award.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 168px; height: 58px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-fPLvfLlGFLQ/TWXNznUOa7I/AAAAAAAABF8/_JTWl7O2gAI/s400/Liebster_blog_love_blog_Award.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5577090000179063730" border="0" /></a>which translates, from German, into "Dearest Blog".
