Echoes of Kindness

I am trying to use Raspberry Tart designer paper more often, because it was a really popular one after seeing the results in my blog candy. I LOVE the Echoes of Kindness stamp set. I pulled it out once, and fell in love with it. I have used it lots, just keep your eye out for more! I made this card before purchasing the watercolour paper. It took a while using Whipser White cardstock, but watercolour paper would be ideal for the blending. The elegant idea using the pearl and the big brad were inspired by Teneale Williams. I have used this idea on a card HERE.
Both of the stamp sets that I have used can be earned for free! Contact me to find out how!

Card/Paper: Regal Rose, Old Olive, Whisper White, Raspberry Tart DSP

Tea Party & Butterflies

It's school time again, so that means I'm back to work! I had a really lovely, relaxing holiday.
Now to the card, I LOVE the Tea Party designer paper! It's a must-have! I made this card when the Summer mini was current and before I purchased the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set. You can make this card with only Flight of the Butterfly, but I've used Butterfly Prints, Priceless and Thank You Kindly.
I had seen a card similar to this one, and I remade it, but I can't remember who it was.
The weather is starting to get colder, and when I look at this card, it reminds me of spring :-)

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Butterfly Prints, Priceless, Thank You Kindly
Card/Paper: Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Whisper White, Tea Party DSP
Ink: Almost Amethyst, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Basic Gray
Accessories: Mat Pack, 5/8" Certainly Celery grosgrain ribbon, Hemp Twine

Mini Catalogue Launch

Hi everyone,
Today was my mini catalogue launch! I had 12 attendees and we all had a fun filled afternoon filled with: sharing ideas, seeing what's new and making a small project (oh, and of course chatting and eating, Sarah and I made a delicious chocolate cake!)

Now, unfortunately I can't share with you the project yet, because I created it a couple of days ago and last week, Ian took the camera on a business trip. Never mind, I can show it to you in a week or so.

But I can show you a couple of the name places that Sarah made for the table. She's used the NEW bird punch with the Top Note from the Big Shot (and the cute new colours!)

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: none
Card/Paper: Kraft, Soft Suede, Kiwi Kiss, Very Vanilla, Rich Razzleberry or Melon Mambo
Ink: Soft Suede
Accessories: XL Bird punch, Word Window punch, Very Vintage wheel, Chocolate Chip marker, Top Not die, Big Shot

Hot Chocolate Purse

I held a workshop last Tuesday, we made these cute purses using designer paper and the Top Note from the Big Shot. It was really successful- everyone enjoyed themselves and had a great afternoon. We put in a matching hot chocolate sachet, using Dotto (repositional adhesive). This would be a lovely little gift to tell someone you care about them. You could also cut a cellophane bag and slip in a gift card.
I got the instructions from Dawn Griffith, found HERE.Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Cottage Garden
Card/Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Whisper White, Cottage Wall DSP
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: Scallop Circle punch, 1 3/8" Circle punch, 1 1/4" Circle punch, Top Note die, Big Shot, Dazzling Diamonds, White taffeta ribbon, White 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, Velcro
