Big Baja Breeze Butterfly

Say that 3 times fast!......I'm really loving this big butterfly die! It's just lovely. For this card, I stamped the script stamp from the French Foliage set a few times on the butterfly using Early Espresso ink. Then I stamped the Bella Toile stamp using Versa Mark, and clear embossed it. Some pearls finished it off nicely.

I'm looking forward to making many more of these cards using different colours! They are so simple and easy to make, but the effect of the embossing on the butterfly is stunning IRL.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Bella Toile, French Foliage, Just Believe
Card/Paper: Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake
Ink: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Versa Mark
Accessories: Beautiful Butterflies die, Early Espresso 1/8" taffetta ribbon, clear embossing powder

Thank you for visiting! See you again soon...

Simple Just Believe

Hello there, how are you? I hope you're all enjoying your week. We just got back from a lovely wee holiday in the Coromandel. It was chilly, but wonderful. Since we got back, I've had some time in my craft room....

I sat down and created these very simple cards using the SU! In- colours. They would be a lovely gift, in a matching box or wallet, or great to have on hand when you're short of time.

Each colour is paired with Old Olive:

Poppy Parade

Concord Crush

Blushing Bride

Peach Parfait

Which one is your favourite? I still haven't decided mine.....

Sail Away

Sorry for my looong absence from blogging. I have hardly got down to the craftroom! Although June is the big birthday month in our family, so I will have to get some creating done!
It was Ian's birthday last Friday and yes, again the anguish of a male card. Thankfully I had the Sail Away stamp and Ian is a bit of an ocean lover! I got the idea for this card from Jacque Pederson, here. Thanks Jacque!

Here is the card I made for my mum for Mother's Day. I just love these colours.

I received this lovely card from Emma and Sophie from Stampin' Up! for presenting at the Auckland Regional Training. Thanks ladies!

And just a quickie I made a while ago featuring the Build-A-Brads.

Clean and Simple #137

It's a horrible rainy day here in Auckland; perfect stamping weather!
I made this card following the Clean and Simple Stamping challenge. It's such a great challenge site. Here is the card I made following this week's sketch:

I used the Little Leaves die, along with the flower from the Itty Bitty punch pack for the wee flowers. And of course a few rhinestones finish the card off nicely.

Here is this week's sketch:

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Because I Care
Card/Paper: Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Very Vanilla
Ink: Melon Mambo, Old Olive
Accessories: Wide Oval punch, Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack, Very Vanilla taffetta ribbon, Little Leaves die, Framed Tulips embossing folder, rhinestones, sponge

Pop on over to the Clean and Simple Stamping blog- take a look at the other amazing entry's, and have a go yourself!
