Navy Trees

Hi there, we've been having great school holidays. Although I am still very busy, with a to-do list as long as my arm! (I'm sure some of you can relate!)
Now onto the card. My daughter Sarah made this using inspiration from a decorated paper bag that I made at team training, taught by the very talented Paula Dobson. We call Paula the Queen of Sponging, and you'll now what I mean when you check out her stunning sponging projects on her blog.

Sarah has used Night of Navy card, ink and ribbon. As well as the platinum shimmer paint (love this stuff!)
I recently purchased the Lovely as a Tree stamp set, and what a gorgeous set of stamps! It's very versatile and is perfect for all sorts of techniques.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Lovely as a Tree, Snow Swirled
Card/Paper: Night of Navy, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Night of Navy
Accessories: 1 3/8" circle punch, Night of navy 1/8" taffeta ribbon, Platinum Shimmer Paint, sponge

Open Sided Purse

My friend Hannah designed this clever little open sided purse. Hannah put little cards in hers but I added a mini perfume from my friend who sells Le Reve. It is ideal to put in almost anything small: (sweets, jewelery etc).

Stamp Sets: Snow Swirled
Card/Paper: Real Red, Old Olive, Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Ski Slope DSP
Ink: Baja Breeze
Accessories: Scallop Circle punch, 1 3/8" Circle punch, 1 1/4" Circle punch, Scallop Edge punch, Horizontal Slot punch, Baja Breeze 5/8" striped grosgrain ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds

I found the green & red card on someone's blog, but I can't remember who. Thank you to whoever designed it, it's gorgeous. I thought that it would look great in Baja Breeze & Not Quite Navy as well, I tried it and yes, I think it looks great in both colours.
Only six more days to order out of the Spring Mini, please email me if you would like to place an order.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Snow Swirled
Card/Paper: Whisper White, either Old Olive & Real Red or Baja Breeze & Not Quite Navy
Ink: either Old Olive & Real Red or Baja Breeze & Not Quite Navy

Stamp Sets: Snow Swirled
