Vintage Vogue
I LOVE Vintage Vogue! It is one of the new stamp sets in the Autumn/Winter mini catalogue. This was my first project using the NEW GOODIES!
I've used the new stunning wheel called Very Vintage. I added 3 pearls from the Pretties Kit which really finish the card off nicely. I love the colour combo: Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red and Chocolate Chip. I have also used the gorgeous Bella Rose designer papers.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Vintage Vogue
Card/Paper: Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, Bella Rose DSP
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss
Accessories: Pretties Kit, Chocolate Chip taffeta ribbon, Very Vintage wheel, Scallop Edge punch
Well, today was the last day of school, so now it is the school holidays! My mum is staying with us from Christchurch and Ian's dad is coming round for dinner tonight. We are going to have a movie night, watching the new release movie, 2012!!
I hope you have a really great weekend,

Mojo Monday #131
This is my daughter, Sarah's entry for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge this week. I really wanted to make a card following the sketch, but unfortunately I didn't get the time.
Sarah stamped the script image from the Fresh Cuts stamp set and embossed it one white card. Then she applied Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy ink using the sponge daubers. And then cut up the image and stuck onto Not Quite Navy card. The rest of the card was quite straight forward. This is a very effective technique that I really like, email me at debairey@xtra.co.nz if you would like to learn this.
I really like her colour combo: Not Quite Navy, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Basic Grey
Sooo, here is her card:Here is a close-up of the gorgeous embossed script image:
And here is the Mojo Monday sketch:

Card/Paper: Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Urban Garden DSP

Our take on Just Add Ink
The Just Add Ink challenge this week is this fabulous sketch:
Sarah and I made this card together. It uses the Upsy Daisy stamp set. We just knew that this set would fit the sketch beautifully. We added some of the luxurious Kiwi Kiss satin ribbon for some visual texture.
For colouring the daisy's, we used the Not Quite Navy and Old Olive markers. I quite like this effect. And same with the sentiment, we added both colours for a multicoloured look.
The Upsy Daisy set and the Urban Garden designer papers match with each other beautifully.
Here is our card:Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets: Upsy Daisy
Card/Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Urban Garden DSP
Accessories: Kiwi Kiss satin ribbon, Clear Rinestone brads, Large Oval punch, Scallop Edge punch, Not Quite Nave & Old Olive markers
We had a lot of fun with this sketch, hope you like it! :)

Bella Rose
I held a workshop yesterday, we made this mini side step card using the Good Egg stamp set found HERE.
I demonstrated the Sweet Treat cups on this card. This card was strongly inspired by the talented Paula Dobson. Her project is found HERE.
I put red and green jelly beans in my Sweet Treat cup to match the gorgeous Bella Rose designer papers.
The ribbon at the top, is to pull the trap door up so that you don't have to rip the card open to get the jelly beans.
I made this mini treat box to match the card. The instructions on how to make this cute box is by Dawn Griffith, found HERE. This box is so quick and easy. Again, I added jelly beans to match the papers.
Supplies used for side step card:
Stamp Sets: Flight of the Butterfly
Card/Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White, Bella Rose DSP
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red
Accessories: Butterfly punch, Riding Hood Red 5/8" striped grosgrain ribbon, Sweet Treat cup, 1 3/4" Circle punch
Supplies Used for mini treat box:
Card/Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, Bella Rose DSP
The Sweet Treat cups are only available until the end of March. They are so cute and it would be awful to miss out on them. Email me to order yours today,

On this card, I filled the Sweet Treat cup with pink smokers.
I added a slider door, on the inside of the card so that when it comes to eating the lollies, you don't have to rip the card open to get to them:
